Teaching

From Text to Data to networks

Since 2012

A two-part workshop which teaches network data extraction from historical sources using Qualitative Data Analysis techniques and gives an introduction to NodeXL or Palladio. I have lost count how often I taught this one in variations using either NodeXL or Palladio. But for sure, the Van Leer Institute in Jerusalem, UNC Chapel Hill, the Social Network Analysis Summer Schools in Trier, the University of Sofia, Jana Diesner’s DH class at Urbana-Champaign were among them.
