The (Un-)Strike Project
During my time as eHumanities Post Doc at Radboud University Nijmegen I worked on „Strikes that never happened“ together with my colleagues Antal van den Bosch, Iris Hendrickx and Kalliopi Zervanou. As a historian I am particularly interested in exploring the potential of machine-reading combined with the study of events which unexpectedly did not occur. I believe that there is great potential for the practice of historical research in general and to challenge the problem of historical hindsight bias in particular.
